Accessibility

Last updated: October 14, 2026

People often read this site while they are in pain, on a phone, or helping a family member. We built it to be easy for everyone to use, and we aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we do

  • Readable body text with high contrast colors.
  • Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline.
  • Headings, labels and landmarks for screen readers, and a skip link on every page.
  • Text alternatives for images, and tables with proper headers.
  • Animation is turned off when your device asks for reduced motion.
  • Plain language, with medical terms defined the first time they appear.
