Website Privacy Policy
This policy explains how the practice of Dr. Mark Currington, D.C. (“we,” “us”) handles information when you visit drcurrington.com (the “Site”) or contact us through it. The short version: we use what you send to respond to you, we never sell it, and we keep the Site free of advertising trackers.
Medical records and other health information created when you become a patient are covered by our separate HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, which you receive at your first visit and can request at any time.
1. Information we collect
- What you send us: your name, phone, email, the areas of concern you select, days that work for you, the insurance plan you want us to check, and anything you type in a message.
- Basic usage data: pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser, and how you arrived, measured without advertising cookies, so we can see which pages help people.
2. How we use it
- To respond to your request and schedule a visit.
- To check your insurance benefits when you ask us to.
- To improve the Site.
3. Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the Site and deliver email, under confidentiality terms, and with your insurance company when you ask us to verify benefits. We may disclose information when the law requires it. We do not sell your information or share it for anyone else’s marketing.
4. Please keep health details out of web forms and email
Website forms and ordinary email are not the right place for detailed medical history, insurance member IDs or Social Security numbers. Share those by phone or at your visit.
5. Maps
The map on our contact and home pages loads from Google Maps only when you choose to show it. Google’s privacy policy applies to that content.
6. How long we keep it
We keep website messages as long as needed to respond and to meet record-keeping rules, then delete them. If you become a patient, your records are kept as required by Texas law.
7. Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete information you sent through the Site, subject to records we must keep by law. Contact us using the details below.
8. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information online.
